Experience:
Alistair Bird is a partner in Mayer Brown's corporate practice. He has extensive experience of all types of work within the corporate field including public and private mergers and acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures.
Alistair has worked across many sectors but has a particular focus on financial institutions and the telecoms sector. He has advised major corporates on strategic transactions which have included high profile M&A deals. A large part of his practice has been devoted to the private equity industry where he advises on all aspects of their investments; this has included public to privates.
Alistair previously worked in the US, advising North American corporates on investing and doing business in Europe. He works closely with lawyers in Mayer Brown's Hedge Funds and Investment Banking Group. Alistair joined Mayer Brown in 2007.
